Childhood to Livelihood
Every young person deserves the opportunity to build a future that's entirely their own.
Childhood
to
Livelihood
The Magic Bus Childhood to Livelihood Programme supports and empowers children to complete their secondary education and develop essential life skills. We provide young people with the skills they need to fulfil their potential and find sustainable and stable employment.
The Problem
Across India, young people are growing up with ambition and potential, but circumstances, extreme hardships and unequal access to education, skills and employment can narrow the choices available to them, leading to school-dropouts and unemployment .
Our Impact
An important part of our approach is engaging with parents and the whole community to build support for the future aspirations of the adolescents and youth on our programme. To date, we have worked with over 6 million young people in 22 States across India.
Together, we can create a world where young people break free from the cycle of extreme hardship, leading to fulfilling, rewarding lives.
