How You Can Help
You can change lives by donating or raising money for Magic Bus
The Magic Starts With You!
£20 will enable one child to go through the Magic Bus programme for a year
£140 will train one young person as a Magic Bus Community Youth Leader, leading life-changing sessions for children from marginalised communities for a year
£1,000 will empower a village of 50 children to take part in the Magic Bus programme for a year
If you are planning to raise money online, set up a JustGiving Page and share your page with friends and family, post it on social media and email it around to everyone you know.
Don’t forget to bear in mind insurance, licencing regulations (raffles), first aid, security & cash handling, food safety and safe guarding of children and vulnerable adults. But don’t forget the most important thing: Have Fun!
Here are some of our ideas, but don’t let us stop you from getting carried away!
Thank you. Your donation really counts.
Invite friends round to your very own pop up supper club and charge them for their meal. Get your spices lined up to make the curry of the year (or anything else that takes your fancy)!
Trek, bike, climb, raft, ride, sledge, ski, build….have fun and achieve a personal goal whilst raising money for us. Go to www.charitychallenge.com/magicbus and get sweaty for Magic Bus.
Hold a cake sale
Who doesn’t love a cake sale? Try and rope in your friends and colleagues to bake and set up a cake stall at your school or workplace. Watch the cash come rolling in!
Donate your Special Day
Landmark birthday? Anniversary? Wedding? Ask friends and family to donate to Magic Bus instead of buying presents and give a child a brighter future.
If you are able to make a significant contribution of £10,000 or more we would love to hear from you. We are bringing together like minded philanthropists in the UK to form a membership of Ambassadors who can help us reach our goals and make a lasting impact.
You will receive:
Quarterly newsletters and programme updates
Invitations to exclusive events
Opportunities to visit the programmes in India and see the impact your support is having
