Safeguarding measures

Magic Bus UK takes the safety and well-being of its staff and the children on its programme very seriously.

As such, with the introduction of a delivery programme in the UK, Magic Bus has prepared:

1.       Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy

2.       Physical Intervention Policy, and

3.       Whistleblowing Policy

Each of these documents outlines the measures and safeguards Magic Bus has put in place to ensure that each child on the programme is able to participate in a safe, secure, inclusive and consistent environment and that staff are fully supported to address any concerns they may have about the governance of the charity.

A copy of these documents is available on request by contacting Coreen Reilly, Office Manager, on

A chain of command has been established to review these documents and address any issues and this is as follows:

Designated Person for Child Protection - Priyanka Sharma,

Magic Bus UK Director – Sonya Timms,

Magic Bus UK Chair of Trustees – Bernard Horn

The Whistleblowing Policy directs individuals to raise any concerns directly with Magic Bus UK Director, Sonya Timms, in the first instance, and then with Magic Bus Chairman, Bernard Horn.
