Youth development

In India there is an event of enormity approaching. The statistics are alarming. In 15 years’ time, there will be 423 million people of working age unemployed and looking for work in India. So how do we try and solve this crisis? In the journey out of poverty to employment four things need to happen; empowerment in the areas of education, health and gender rights; fair social and political systems; access to financial prospects and livelihoods; employability and life skills.

Magic Bus is excited to be developing a new youth development programme to address the looming crisis. This programme will provide disadvantaged youth with personalised support to enable them to identify and achieve their livelihood goals and move into sustained employment, further education and career related training, or a combination of these outcomes, at the end of the programme. We look forward to keeping you updated on developments and to sharing our young people’s success stories with you in future communications.
