International Day of Sport for Development and Peace

Today is the first International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, announced last year by The United Nations General Assembly in a bid to recognise 'the power of sport to erase cultural barriers and mobilise people around the world'.

Over the last 15 years Magic Bus has seen first hand the power of sport to enable people to change their lives through realising the importance of education, gender equality, healthy livestyles and securing a meaningful job. Hundreds of thousands of children have attended weekly Magic Bus sessions and through simple sporting games and messages, gained the confidence to change their lives and move themselves and their families out of poverty.

Join Magic Bus today in giving thousands more children the chance to learn the power of sport by signing up to become a monthly donor
